JED CAN’T BE BEAT(ON)
Poor puns aside, we’re incredibly proud of PCR faithful Jed Beaton. ‘Podium Guy’ scored a superb 3rd overall at the GP of Portugal mid-April.
Looking solid on the F&H Racing Kawasaki and we’re pumped for their first World Championship podium. Nice guys, thoroughly professional set up, and best of all, protected by us at Pro-Carbon Racing.
PRODUCT UPDATE
The new 2018 CRF250R Engine Case Covers are now in production. The first batch shipped earlier this month, and all new orders are currently on just a 2 day lead time.
As Ian Bannister found out when he asked ‘What sort of lap times are these saving on average?’, we were more than happy to answer:
2 to 3 seconds, Ian. See, when your lovely new Honda doesn’t have scabby looking engine cases where the black paint has scratched and worn off, you feel so much better about life and ride much smoother and faster. It’s a fact.
THE NUMBERS DON’T LIE
Here’s a MX2 statistic from the GP in April: on a heavy, sticky track (where the soil was full of rocks and the ruts were almost bottomless) half of the overall top 10 were rotected by our Bashplates and Disc Guards. So maybe you should invest in your ride and have a better position. Win/win. Literally.
PRODUCT FOCUS TIME
We finally managed to get a photo of the new lightweight and indestructible 2018 YZ450F Bashplate. Total protection for the frame, engine cases, water pump and hoses.
If you order a Bashplate from us it will be identical to the ones used by GP riders and made from the same mould with the same materials.
